Just a note- I've searched the AG trademarks page over and over and there is no Rebecca. There's not even an R section. But Julie's there.
There is a Rebecca doll in progess, I can't say too much because I don't want to get in trouble for cross-posting.
I come from a 100% Ashkenazi Jewish background. That means my ancestors are from Eastern European decent-Lithuania, Russia, Czech. and Austria. Most of them came here during the immigration period around the turn of the 20th century.
The only exception is that I have one line of decendants who lived in the O'Leary's building when the great Chicago Fire of 1871 happened. My great-great-great grandmother was pregnant with my great-great grandmother at the time. The both survived. My mom has told me a family story about the Chicago Fire that was passed down the generations. The cow didn't have anything to do with it, excpet standing in the barn. The fire got started from 2 of the O'Leary's sons who got into a fistfight after visiting a local tavern and knocked over a lantern in the barn in the process.
I will definitely buy this doll whenever she comes out. Most of my family has had dark blonde to dark brown hair, usually thick and curly.

There are a few people here who know what the next LE and historical are going to be but we can not say anything. The next historical isn't necessarily the one that was posted at Playthings.

There is an online survey group that asks people's opinions on new dolls, outfits, accessories, etc.
